Adverbios, partículas y marcadores del discurso: αὖ y αὖθις en los historiadores griegos

Resumen


El propósito de este trabajo es estudiar αὖ y αὖθις en los textos de los historiadores griegos. Αὖθις funciona prototípicamente como un adverbio, mientras que algunos estudiosos consideran que αὖ es más bien una partícula. Ambos elementos están relacionados etimológicamente y se usan como marcadores del discurso en contextos similares. Mi intención es demostrar que tanto αὖ como αὖθις pueden describirse en el corpus que he utilizado como adverbios temporales con usos discursivos, que, por lo demás, son propios de las denominadas partículas en griego antiguo. Su función como marcadores del discurso es la de ordenadores que estructuran series de miembros paralelos.
