Resumen

Este artículo es un examen detallado de secciones de la nueva serie de diccionarios griegos de Franco Montanari (GI, GE y GD), con especial atención a una serie de lemas que comienzan con alfa y mi en la reciente edición en alemán. A la luz de ello, se ofrece una consideración general de las mejores prácticas lexicográficas. Se establecen contrastes entre LSJ9 y Montanari en lo que respecta al manejo y la verificación de las referencias primarias, la elección de los lemas y la organización de las entradas, y la relación entre los dos trabajos se rastrea a través del estudio de un grupo de lemas individuales que comienzan con alfa. El artículo concluye con un análisis detallado del manejo de ἀλαός, ἀλαόω y μάκελλον y términos emparentados en LSJ9 y Montanari, con sugerencias alternativas sobre cómo el material podría organizarse, presentarse y entenderse de manera más eficiente.
