Resumen

El artículo analiza la incongruencia pragmática como recurso humorístico en las comedias de Aristófanes. Se trata de una incongruencia que transgrede las convenciones socioculturales que rigen el intercambio comunicativo y que se traduce con frecuencia en el uso inadecuado de las estrategias de (des)cortesía. Dicho uso se explica sin dificultad en el marco de un microcosmos lúdico en el que el espectador es el destinatario de la interacción entre los personajes. El fin último de Aristófanes es crear un sentimiento de desafiliación con el personaje que es blanco de la descortesía y, al propio tiempo, fortalecer el sentimiento de filiación con el espectador.
