New proposals on the ordering of the fragments, the reconstruction and the content of Stesichorus’ poems. The attribution of POxy. 2734 to the Games of Pelias, of the new PLille to the Eriphyle, the reconstruction of the Cerberus and the Iliupersis and some proposals on the Oresteia, the Helen and the Palinode are some of the novelties in this article. The author identifies two of the books by Stesichorus: the first, entitled Paides in the Alexandrinian edition, would be devoted to the monodic poems of erotic-threnetic content, the second, of iambic and epodic poetry, would encompass the Stesichorean fables we know. These two books, in addition to the twelve lyric-epic poems containing perhaps two books each one, would make up the 26 books of the Alexandrian edition of this ancient author.
