The aim of this study is, following the steps of J. Chadwick in a recent paper, to try to find out the month of the fall of Knossos. Frist the author isolates the occurrences of the month names preserved in the tablets and tries to place them in the year. On the other hand, he examines the documents concerning activities, conunodities, and / or farming and livestock which can be placed in the seasonal year. On the available evidence, he thinks of August as the likeliest time when Knossos did fall.
