The exotic image we have always had from the East has influenced by the descriptions the people made, in the beliefs about their traditions and in their stories about fantastic beings. Stories that, although in some cases, are mere non-existent fables but in others, have a real base. We are going to examine their origin and the functionality of mysterious díkairon that it should go beyond the simple poison that we read of in the classic sources.
