Compared with the current opinion for which Catullus would have imitated in c. CI 1 Horn. Odys. I 1-4, in this paper we would like to show the dependance on an Apollonius Rhodius's passage of Argonautica (III 348-349) which is also modeled on the Homer's passage itself.
