Callet, Ceret and Osset call special attention among ancient place-names of Baetica because of their unusual endings. These forms are generally accepted as correct and A. Schulten has even tried to find in them an Etruscan origin. The author of this paper intends to demonstrate that they are simply due to a misreading of epigraphic sources. The correct forms must be read without the final t.
