Ambigüedad semántica y gramatical en Sófocles

An important part of Sophocles' texts, especially in Oedipus Rex and Electra, bear two readings, two interpretations, different but simultaneous. In such cases, the characters who take part in the development of the play, the actors the same as the audience, interpret the passage in one way or the other, according to their relation to it. This is proved by the occurrence of facts of grammar or language, equally ambiguous, parallel to the semantic ambiguity, which render the double interpretation of meaning possible.
