This paper corrects some errata which were introduced in the metrical reconstructions of the previous paper on this subject, published in Emerita 48, 1980, pp. 185-208, and also it improves those reconstructions. Besides, it carries further the study of this fable. The model of Par. 350 Ch. = 164 Cr. was written in Hellenistic verse, not Babrian. Babrius 12 is derived from a model which is the one of the dodecasyllables 9 Ch. That model can be reconstructed almost in full. Finally, the fable H. 39b belongs to the branch represented by P. Mich 457 + P. Yale inv. 1158v.
