Notas al léxico jurídico latino. Sobre escit = erit y sarpta = putata

From Festus on the existence of archaic Latin escit = ‘erit’ and sarpta = ‘putata’ is accepted. According to this article, escit is a misreading for essit = esit and sarpta for carpta. Both forms would stem from an easily explainable confusion between s and c.
