In Greek theatre there are scenes whose oldest model would be the ritual agones between men and women in certain Greek feasts. The present paper studies these scenes, some of them of an archaic type, while other ones are developped in the history of the Greek theater itself. The topics of the polemic between men and women in these scenes are specially studied. Finally, the author reviews other passages of the Greek theatre where this polemic is not inserted in traditional formal frames.
