Resumen

Este artículo es una reseña ampliada del Traité d’accentuation grecque de Éric Dieu (2022). Tres cuestiones son objeto de especial atención: (a) la naturaleza del acento de entonación del griego antiguo y la validez de los datos aducidos; (b) el papel de la analogía en algunos cambios de la posición original del acento en griego moderno; (c) la presunta presencia de un acento de intensidad en las sílabas iniciales de palabra en el antiguo dialecto tesalio.
